The interim evaluation of the MILbox project

In July of 2023, the interim evaluation was performed for the MILbox project. IDEC, the leading partner for Quality assurance and assessment of the project, generated the review and its report. An interim report was done so the Consortium can ensure the quality of its actions.

It included information about the project’s relevance, the leadership, management and coordination, partnership and transnational cooperation, the quality and impact of the results, the risk assessment and, in the end, the general remarks.

The subcategory of leadership, management, and cooperation showed that all partners generally agreed with each other and expressed satisfaction with these processes. However, they proposed a more frequent meeting schedule for the project’s final phase.

In the subcategory of partnership and transnational cooperation, all partners expressed their positive attitude toward the overall collaboration and actions of each other, as they all were exceptionally experienced in these matters. Concerning the SWOT Analysis, the main strength would be the partner’s experience and cooperation, while the main opportunity could be future collaborations. Partners thought that more emphasis should be given to disseminating the results in the final months of the project as many of them are already in their final shape.

As for the quality of the project’s results and their impact on the organisations, it is vital to highlight the unanimous support for the belief that the deliverables indeed met the quality objectives and were both innovative and valuable. In addition, every participant stated that their competencies were improved, not only at an organisational level but at a personal level, too.

The partners did not mention any conflict during this period and assured their desire to cooperate again. It is an excellent base for the Consortium to improve its practices and achieve even better cooperation for all the partners. As far as the Transnational Meetings are concerned, both were successful and very positively evaluated. Overall, the meetings reached their objectives, and the partners knew their role thus far.

All partners believe that the project has a lot to offer and has the potential to expand its use, encompassing more countries and broader educational levels.
